"We believe a contractor network should create opportunity, not unnecessary competition."
Contractor Allocation & Network Management Policy
Future Stability is committed to building a trusted network of Approved Contractors and allocating referrals fairly, transparently and professionally.
Our Philosophy
Future Stability has been designed differently from traditional contractor directories and lead-generation platforms.
Rather than maximising the number of contractors within each trade or charging contractors to compete for work, our objective is to build a carefully managed network of trusted professionals capable of supporting vulnerable people, families, accommodation providers, local authorities, housing organisations and referral partners.
Quality over Quantity
Value over Volume
Our success depends upon the quality of our contractor network rather than the number of businesses we enrol.
How Future Stability Differs
| Traditional Lead Platforms | Future Stability |
|---|---|
| Sell multiple leads | Allocate referrals to suitable Approved Contractors |
| Contractors compete for work | Contractors are matched based on suitability |
| Unlimited memberships | Carefully managed contractor network |
| Revenue increases by selling more memberships | Success depends on maintaining a balanced network |
| Focus on lead generation | Focus on referral management and service delivery |
Building a Balanced Contractor Network
Future Stability deliberately manages the size of its contractor network.
Rather than enrolling unlimited contractors within every trade and locality, we aim to maintain an appropriate balance between contractor capacity, geographical coverage and expected referral demand.
When considering new applications we may assess:
Where appropriate, Future Stability may temporarily pause recruitment for particular trades or locations once sufficient coverage has been achieved.
This approach helps protect the long-term value of membership for Approved Contractors while maintaining excellent service standards for referring organisations.
Why Joining Early Matters
Early Registration Benefits
As Future Stability expands nationally, contractor places within particular trades and geographical areas may become limited.
Contractors who join the network early are more likely to establish their presence before recruitment reaches capacity within their area.
Early Approved Contractors may also benefit from:
Future Stability reserves the right to operate waiting lists for service categories or geographic areas where network capacity has been reached.
Contractor Allocation
Future Stability normally allocates referrals directly to the Approved Contractor considered most suitable for the referral.
Allocation decisions may consider:
No single factor automatically determines contractor selection.
Quotations
Where quotations are required, Future Stability will normally invite the selected Approved Contractor to provide a quotation.
Provided that:
- •the quotation is reasonable;
- •any agreed budget parameters are met;
- •compliance remains current;
- •the contractor remains available; and
- •there are no material changes to the referral,
Future Stability will normally proceed without requesting multiple competing quotations.
Future Stability reserves the right to obtain additional quotations where this is required by procurement rules, funding requirements, client instructions or value-for-money considerations.
Fair Allocation
Future Stability is committed to operating a fair, objective and transparent allocation process.
Where several contractors are equally suitable, Future Stability may also consider:
No Guaranteed Volume of Work
Approval as an Approved Contractor does not guarantee:
The Approved Contractor Registration Fee covers:
It is not a payment for guaranteed work.
Our Commitment
Future Stability exists to connect trusted contractors with organisations supporting vulnerable people, families and communities.
Our objective is not to build the largest contractor directory.
Our objective is to build one of the UK's most trusted managed contractor networks.
Every decision regarding contractor recruitment and referral allocation is intended to:
